Course types:

Getting Started with TrapTester

This one-day course is designed for geoscientists who have never used TrapTester before and who require a fast introduction to the software capabilities. Basic concepts are introduced to enable you to import data, construct 3D fault models and perform basic fault seal analysis.
* Prerequisites: None

Structural Interpretation

This is a two-day course based around the TrapTester interpretation environment. You will learn how to apply modern fault analysis concepts during structural interpretation to identify and correct areas of poor interpretation
* Prerequisites: Some knowledge of TrapTester is preferred but not essential. Basic understanding of seismic interpretation techniques.

Building Geological Models

Building faulted framework models is a fundamental step in the appraisal of trap risk. This two-day course provides you with all the necessary skills to create faulted structural models in TrapTester, to apply 3D data editing tools and incorporate well-base data to refine the framework model.
* Prerequisites: Some knowledge of TrapTester is preferred but not essential.

Fault Seal Analysis for Beginners

This one-day course provides you with the basic skills required to perform basic fault seal analysis and column height prediction. The starting point is a 3D model created in TrapTester (or imported from other modelling packages).
* Prerequisites: Some experience of TrapTester is preferred. No previous experience of fault seal analysis techniques is required.

TrapTester Advanced course: FaultED module

This is a new two-day course that teaches you how to apply the advanced functionality in TrapTester for fault and fracture prediction using the FaultED module
