EarthGrid is a module within TrapTester for the import, display, analysis and export of corner-point geocellular grids, their properties and structure.
The physical properties of fault zones are the most influential factor in the prediction of cumulative oil production. TrapTester6 now incorporates TransGen advanced functionality for deriving Transmissibility Multipliers for export to reservoir simulations.

Integration |
EarthGrid is fully integrated into TrapTester providing a single environment for data access, visualization and export of results. The geocellular reservoir model can be displayed together with depth converted interpretations, well and seismic data. QC of the geocellular model is uniquely possible through the direct comparison with the high resolution TrapTester (or 3rd party model) geological model. |

Attribute modelling |
A comprehensive range of geocellular attributes are available, including throw, stratigraphy, overlap area, and derived fault properties such as shale gouge ratio, clay smear potential and column height.
The TransGen module incorporates all the standard empirical relationships, user-defined relationships and proprietary calibrations to predict fault-zone properties, such as transmissibility multipliers, and advanced options for modelling sub-seismic scale fault zones, deformation bands and relay zones. |

Scenario management |
New user-defined scenarios enable multiple model runs (and results) to be derived from a single geocelluar model. Multiple model runs permit model sensitivities to be evaluated. All properties per model run are displayable on cell layers and fault surfaces. |

Visualization |
The TrapTester implementation embodies a whole new infrastructure for observing corner-point grids, cell attributes and cell-fault properties. |
